Computacenter Implements Heiler Software for Product Data Management: PIM provides a basis for electronic catalogs in B2B commerce

Detroit/ Stuttgart, February 25th, 2010 – Computacenter implements a central solution to manage all of its master and product data. Europe’s leading independent IT service provider and distributor, will now use Enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) from Heiler to make individual electronic catalogs available to its customers and, in particular, to its key accounts.

Standardized interfaces allow Heiler Product Manager to be integrated directly into the existing SAP landscape. “Our key accounts use their own procurement systems. We use Heiler Software to create electronic catalogs, for example in BMEcat format, which are directly integrated into our customers’ purchasing processes”, says Günther. Heiler Product Manager supports all customary standard formats and classification systems, including BMEcat, Datanorm, eCl@ss and ETIM.
